PARAMETERS FOR ANALYZING A WORK
AND (RE)BRING ART CLOSER TO YOUR LIFE
Based on theories of art education, understandings of art history, and the thoughts of philosopher Alain de Botton, the course is structured so that you will reflect on the functions of art, learn tools for reading a work of art at various levels of understanding, discover at least 5 different reasons and interpretations that qualify a work of art as "good," and develop the repertoire to clearly explain your point of view.
The course consists of 6 modules and can be started in any of them.
